I love super metroid and the castlevania series but I was also unimpressed by the demo. I'm hoping someone can tell me that the full game is a lot better as I normally love this kind of game.

The full game is beyond superb, tied for my game of the year. I felt absolutely compelled to complete the game and had a massively good time doing so. I was newbie to the genre, but enjoyed the playing style immensely. The story, although pretty good, doesn't integrate too well, but it doesn't detract from the enjoyment at all. Just when it's starting to get a little bit boring, you find a gadget or upgrade, and it gives the game a shot in the arm. :D

I'd say it was worth paying full retail for, so 800 points is an absolute steal, buy it! :D
