... keeps crashing on any res with 390.77 and 416.81 drivers as well
btw. SOTTR is the only game I'm experiencing this issue with or without OC ;)
Black screen ... probably display driver

Just manage to make 1080p and 1440p without 2160p

SOTTR is the problem with game crashes not the hardware.

Hey Kaap, not sure if right place to put this but i found a fix for the SOTTR issue that has worked for me, i know you were also having issues with this title crashing.

This was a fix i came across at the weekend when having the same issues.
    1. With Steam running, click on "Steam" in the upper left, then choose the "Settings" menu. ...
    2. On the "Account" tab under "Beta Participation" click the "Change..." button.
    3. Select the "Steam Beta Update" from the drop down list and click "OK".
    4. You will be prompted to restart Steam, please select the "Restart Steam" button.
This has worked for me and had no crash since applying this setting

    Thanks.:)

I gave the above a go but unfortunately I got mixed results.

My Pascal Titans can run DX11 or DX12 but SLI does not work with DX11 and crashes with DX12.

My 2080 Ti cards can run DX11 but not DX12 as the system crashes and SLI does not work either.

I think I will have to wait for the game devs to release another patch.

Kaapstad, these figures are from the Trial/Demo version, the benchmark seems the same as the full version but note that the build number is different. No problem if you don't want to include in the results:

    DX12
    1080p
    2080 @1950/3625
    8700K @4.8
