I want to get Dead Space tonight, and can still get £30 on trade in for COD4. Shall I trade COD4 and be without a decent FPS for a month till COD5 is out? Is COD5 likely to be just as good, if not better than COD4 multiplayer? I haven’t read much about it, will the setting still be modern warfare?

World at War is back to the World War II setting.

It's sort of like 4 reskinned, but apparently the level design isn't as good and the dogs (chopper replacement in multiplayer) are overpowered.

COD5 is set in WWII again and is basically COD4 with a war theme. It plays exactly the same, so it will be nothing that new. If you like COD4 and like war games, then get it.

Dead Space is very good and highly recommended, but if I had to choose, then i would still keep COD4 just for the multiplayer. Thats purely my opinion though.

I'll echo this point, played both the PC beta and the xbox version at i35 and the level design is nowhere near the quality of CoD4. It is in essence a reskinned CoD4 with several imbalances and terrible maps, it plays exactly the same, looks exactly the same and lacks the polished feel that CoD4 has.

Most of the issues the game has could easily be fixed but I am doubtful (as I always have been) that Treyarch are capable of making a game to the same standard as Infinity Ward, even using their engine.

It doesnt play the same. COD2 is closer and you cant even run in that, yet thats the part that makes 4 feel so right.

Yep on the high street. A certain video rental place has an offer where if you trade in a selected game, you get a chart game for £9.99. Although ive seen it vary from £9.99 to £14.99.

I think Im going to do it (once I complete Bioshock) and keep myself occupied till COD5, and if I hate it, pick up a 2nd hand copy of COD4 :)

Would this be the only highstreet video rental place in Wokingham? I'm only aware of the one and while I'm 99% sure it's not a competitor I'd hate to make the effort when I'm next down there and it not be that place.

edit: Never mind I used google.

You sure you can trade in COD4 for Dead space because if I think we on about the same store it isn't advertised as one of the games that I just googled up
