Share you BF3 Alpha (fps) experience

1920x1080 on high setting, that was with one card though. I read somewhere that the alpha had issues with multi gpu and disabled crossfire before i played. Enabled crossfire on the updated client and was getting a max fps of around 120.

Should run it decently id think, beta next month so that should be more telling.

The average for 1 card on high was around 60fps, not sure what settings the 70fps popped up on, possibly medium, though it looked no different.

youll probably get another 20 fps by time the proper game is out so some on borderline i wouldnt panic yet wait itll beta is out.

Hope so Dg, as i can max bc2 no problem, runs from 70-150 fps depending on scenario, 1920x1200.

Eyefinity 6048x1200, auto (high) - around 40fps but severe graphical problems

everyone is getting uber fps atm, im thinking of buying one of those refurbished gtx 580's that just went on preorder on ocuk, which should hopefully give me the 60fps sweet spot on release *sweats*

So is there going to be a beta and how will you get on it?

From videos and pictures ive seen it looks like graphics are a bit fuzzy so I assume they are using loads of annoying blur effects like crysis 2 has.

The beta is coming out in september, date tbc. You can access it if you bought the limited edition of medal of honor, or if you preorder bf3 from ea via their origin download system. The alpha did feature motion blur but it wasnt as bad as crysis 2.
