Share your computer nostalgia...

Amiga Commodore 1200, it's still there behind me and still works as far as I know. Zool, Superfrog, Pinball illusions, Megaball are some of the most memorable ones. The disk reading sound is classic, it sounds like it's ripping them apart  :D

Apparently had an Atari 2600 before, don't know where it is and was too young to remember it.

started with the original PONG/PING console.

when i was 4 i wanted a computer so got a Vic20.

Then the next year, a Vic20 unexpanded/expanded (cant remember what it was but was one step up from the last one)

Then a C64 when i was 6. The school had a Acorn something or other, only used that once to play a game on. You where an explorer who could turn into a werewolf.

Consoles added to the collection and then i got my Amiga 1200.

PC's from then on with a few consoles as well.

I started with an Atart 520ST, and then moved onto an Amiga 600. Then my parents paid an absolute fortune for what at the time was an absolutely top of the range Pentium 66 machine with 16 megs of ram one Christmas.

Since then I've had a P133, a Cyrix 300 thing, and AMD K6-3 450, an AMD Athlon xp 1800+, an AMD A64 3700+ and an AMD A64 X2 3800+

I still have very fond memories of the Atari, used to love playing some of the old school games, my all time favourite being Dungeon Master.

I started with an Intertella something or other..big cartridges for each game. I remember a boxing game which plays a monotone Rocky theme (or tried to) my jaw would hit the floor.
Then onto a Vic 20 and spent hours playing Blitz. Press the spacebar and the plane will drop a bomb onto the buildings below. Wipe out the buildings in time to land.
Then a Speccy 48K, Atic Attack :D Then an Amstrad CPC464, playing Mercenary for hours.
Then an Amiga 600, Premier Manager 2 took over my life.
Sega Master System, Megadrive, PS and then built loads of PCs since.

I remember having a purple handheld binocular thing as well in the early 80s that you looked into and a 3d space invader game was on it. Also there was a 3d racing game as well. :D

I still have my ZX81, I did get the Z80 kit but it got trashed. I have my Speccy original (rubber keymat), the Romantic Robot Multiface1 and the ZXprinter too. I also have a lot of the original games. I am Elite ;)

I kept my first ever home built PC too, Citrix 133 based.

Ah yes, our primary had Acorn computers. Nobody knew how to use them and I don't remember them ever being switched on!

Start on a ZX80.

Best memory was having to leave the room so the damn tape drive on the C64 wouldn't throw a wobbly and crash after the first 8 minutes of loading.
