Shared Hosting - As much storage/Bandwith possible

Can't beat the generosity of that dude offering the promo codes.

I can't fault Dream Host really, had a day outage last year sometime on the server I'm on but that was it.

You do realise that if you start hammering traffic and using a lot of your allocated space you are most likely to be breaking the fair use policy and will be asked to pay more for hosting.

As I've said before I think, if you're running an enterprise web app then this is unsuitable but as a hobby site or online photo gallery it's perfect.

Definitely doesn't happen with Dreamhost. I've seen more than a handful of people who've used TBs of bandwidth a month and Dreamhost have been fine with it.

It's hard to satisfy that amount of bandwidth on a dynamic website without ruining it for the other people on your server, though, so they occasionally stop people running CPU-intensive scripts lots, but that's more than reasonable and as a regular user I'm glad they do it—and let's face it, if you have a site that's getting that many hits, you should be able to afford a dedicated server.
