Right, this might be a lengthy and confusing post but I'll try and put it best I can.
I have an iMac, Macbook and XP HTPC on a network; only the iMac is wired to my router, the others are wireless.
The htpc has shared drives which both the macbook and imac pick and read/write with no problem.
The iMac and Macbook have shared folders on them. Each computer can be seen in Finder but when I click on them nothing happens for a while then it says connection failed.
The strange thing is that it all worked fine the first time I went into the sharing prefs and set it up. It worked once more (albeit one way) when I went in and changed the ID's of the machines but hasn't worked since.
I am runnng little snitch and firewall but I have tried turning them off but to no avail.
What am I missing in trying to get a good sharing connection? The link to the HTPC works fine everytime, never been a problem.
