I did notice on some of the shots the shutter speed was maxed out at 8000. I personally would have stopped it down for those that where landscapes other than that some nice pics
 
85mm f1.4 sure is a nice lens. Might look at investing in the canon equivalent if thats the sort of photo you can take with one.

Just what I was thinking!
I assume the look of the photos is mainly down to the lens rather than post processing?

It's sharp as well, even into the corners at 1.4, although the AF needs to be accurate/consistent to get a half decent keeper rate at such shallow DOF's, which it seems to be when paired with my D700.

100% crop at rule of thirds, no sharpening applied etc.
As you can see, 1 inch +/- would be OOF
