Hi guys,

I have to shave every morning for my job (don't we all??) but shaving this often leaves me with a bit of shaving rash. Not spots, just an irritation. Is there a gel which any of you have used with any success to prevent this from happening?

Inb4 'shave with an axe and acid you gay', and so forth.

Thank you :D

Using Gilette Fusion. I think using the cheap ones is a bit risky? (Risky in terms of rash, not their quality). Thanks though. And to you, Von.

Dont use gel,use a decent soap or cream preferable applied with a brush. Then shave using decent technique rather than scraping it all off in any random connection.

I think my method is fine; it's a perfectly fine shave, but I always feel that my skin is not taken care of during it, which then leads to the shaving rash. It's not a huge problem, but when dealing with new people daily, it's a bit annoying.

I will give the KoS stuff a go I think. I've heard nothing but rave reviews, so everybody can't be wrong. Off to the shops I go. Thanks you lot.

Method =

Hot water
Shaving foam
Shave, with grain, then against grain for tricky bits
Cold water
Moisturiser

In the words of Mr Ramsey; Done!
