The first very, VERY short teaser for Shazam 2 has been released by Levi onto his Instagram account (and copied onto youtube) just before the announcement of San Diego Comic Con -


I liked the first movie as a 6/10 "OK but simple" type movie and I've liked Levi as a Lead since Chuck so seeing him in more Hollywood films is nice but I'm very surprised at the studio moving this 6 months FORWARD (originally planned for July '23) and I wonder if the lack of PR so far has been caused by this, which may mean that the next 6 months will have to be very busy for DC's PR team I suppose.
 
I want this to be good just for Levi, always seems such a nice guy and would love to see him get a success. First one was balanced carefully on the good, not great level.

Even if it wasn't that well received if there's one character you never Grimdark it's Shazam/Captain Marvel.

Love that they even if they aren't going to directly interact yet they had this and the Black Adam trailers contrast in how they perceive their powers too.
 
1st one was a fun movie so to speak, this looks more of the same. Won't watch it in the cinema but I'll probably catch it on streaming at some point
 
Assuming it releases it all. With the way this new head of WB is acting, I wouldn't be surprised if this gets canned if Black Adam doesn't perform up to their expectations.

Thats my take on this too - see how Black Adam does and release or scrap from there. I think Black Adam will do OK myself, the Rock doesn't tend to flop but there's always a first time.
