Just been told that Shell has to change the name of it's Optimax fuel and have it regraded after they lost a legal battle. This should all be happening within the next 4 weeks thou they haven't released the new name it wil go under yet.

Gullibuel a cross between Gullible and fuel :)
I saw a woman waiting to put it in her Micra last week

You do realise that for certain types of engine it does actually help?

Makes a big difference for my engine! it makes it stop working >.<

Well i dont know that from experience but im pretty sure my A4s fuel pump wouldnt like petrol flowing through it :P

Whats it going to be called now?

Shell 'Normal Fuel with 10k boost thrown in and you Gullible mothers are paying £1.06 a litre for it...haha, thanks!'

Oh well

Evidently not, clearly these people don't have cars capable of making the most of it, so it must be tripe.

Nor do they have the worry of "det".

Useless rats urine I tell thee.

Good for my skyline thats for sure

Anthough a micra :p silly women, do they look at the description / price before they put it in their cars or more realistically is petrol petrol :)

"Makes No Difference"

if your can can vary the timing sufficiently then it can actually make a difference.

if it did not then why would import Jap cars run like cronk on UK standard octane fuel unless they get remapped to use it? i believe that higher octane allows u to advance timing further with less chance of Detonation occuring.

Its reccomeded for my bike, it has been proven to work in high performance cars/bikes and has cleaning proporties I thaught? no point in putting it in most cars though, will make no difference

So many people have no idea that for cars that are mapped for it, it makes a huge difference. Too much of the attitude that if id made no difference for them, it won't make a difference to anyone.
My money would be on V-Power as that is what it is known as elsewhere.

If I didnt use it my engine would blow up simple as that.

My car has been dyno mapped for it, although fortunately I can chuck any ole cat pee in it and the ECU will respond to protect the engine.

Can't remember what you drive mate, but I'll agree with you in principle :p

Its well regarded that Evo's WILL det on anything less than SUL.

I'm sure Drexel and Will Gill will come along with some interesting comments. I've heard that both are avid users of 95RON :p :D
