The best smell in the world is the fumes from a 1994 Honda CR500 running on Avgas and Silkolene 2 stroke oil. The memories make me sex myself.
Avgas on its own smells nice as does Jet-A1 but the best aircraft smell is the smell of Jet-A1 fumes from a VC10 on full tilt. :cool:

The smell of Optimax is more sickening than normal unleaded, it just doesn't do it for me.

My personal favourite aviation smell is the inside of a battered up Cessna, it's like a greenhouse.

I smell that exact same Cessna smell every weekend, personally I'm glad when I jump out it!

To me it smells like getting ready to jump out of a plane! I always get butterflies in my stomach when I smell that smell. Camping on dropzones you used to smell that with your saussage sandwiches in the morning - fantastic! Best way to wake up!
