/Woo Working my way through
A couple of episodes past The Speckled Band. When Roylott bends the fireplace poker with his face going all red and then Holmes just bending it back. Oh he's class
Still don't get why there is only 3.. when there's like 50/60 stories?
You can accept some silliness with the plot because it is supposed to be light-hearted etc. but it got a bit farcical with the ballista... in a tunnel... ?
I agree it is no more than 5 out of 10. the pace of it was just not right in some places. That and the fact that the trailer showed nothing but Chinese acrobats spoilt any suspense or mystery, well done BBC!!
Watched the second episode last night quite enjoyed it, not as much as the first episode but that could be due to the surprise of how much i enjoyed the first one.
Overall been really impressed so far, hoping the third (and final?) episode turns it up a notch and fingers crossed it may get a full series run.
I thought it was a very good spin on the series. Very enjoyable, plus I liked it in the first episode when it was filmed in Cardiff Uni, as I thought 'ang on I have sat in that room' ( the one he played the pill game in)
This is quite good for what it is but I soon started to notice this Dr Who feel. The lead character could easily be the timelord and holmes as the assistant. Then I noticed who are involved, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss with Euros Lynn directing one of the episodes so no wonder.
Well that continued to be good fun and the closest we got to the Reichenbach Falls was a swimming pool. Which of course leads us to another series or maybe it doesn’t. The series was a light hearted breath of fresh air and I hope we have another one.
moriati's accent what was it?? enjoyed the mini series, shame about the ending...he cant kill moriati as we all know he is the arch enemy..if he did that would end the series.
