Shift 2 ATI hardware problems

Super Sampling on single 460gtx - no, I'm not even trying:)

Many thanks for your help, I think I'll be content with what I have here now,it is better than what it was.

Does your Shift2 look about the same as my last screenshot?

tried every thing i can think off still only gettin 45-55 fps on 7970 and stuttering a £150 nv card can play this easy last time i buy ATI.....

There's something you're mssing then as it ran at that fps on my old 5850, never mind a 7970.

Did you download the free Legends DLC from Origin, which includes the latest patch?

yes full patched up dlc limted edition

it wont even start now instant crash

that injector thing just makes it CTD

Which one, InjectFXAA or InjectSMAA?

You running any other mods?

Is aa turned off in-game before you try running the AA injector?

Is it me or does Shift2 run better on latest Nvidia drivers- less popup on marbles, less "dark cockpits", less shimmer on chrome...?

Please dont rub it in :(

is there anyway i can run a gtx480 in my system with my 7970 crossfire setup just for games like this ?

Hey, don't despair, the game certainly runs very well on AMD, in fact "dark cockpits" problem was lees of an issue with AMD cards (so I read on nogrip forums). Try removing the injector files altogether, maybe reinstall (as administrator - always!)... There is no way Shift2 is only playable on nvidia!

ive got it running again i think the stutter is down to nvidia physx at play which is forcing my ati gpu (which is not built for it) to do it insted of my cpu ... so over the weekend iam going to install a 9800gt for physx and see if that works better

Did you try changing for physx to run from CPU and not GPU? I think you can download physx independently from nvidia video drivers and configure it there.
