This is the replacement for the Warrior Infantry Fighting Vehicle. It appears to be going the way of the US Bradley AFV = modified to meet so many conflicting requirements that it ended up meeting none of them.
tanks are unable to travel faster than half the intended top speed of 40mph, and they are so loud that soldiers have had to wear ear defenders and undergo ear tests afterwards. They are also unable to reverse over objects 20cm high.
How can that be in this day and age?
Oh wait, it’s the old “not invented here” mentality that created the SA80.
Maybe we were sabotaged, it's like building a car with only half the brakes.
Did you ever see the kinda funny TV movie about that???..I thought the entire thing was a comedy, then they tell you about it for real at the end.The Pengaton Wars, UK edition.
Firstly it's not a tank
Why the MoD couldn’t just buy the latest German Marder or Israeli Merkava is beyond me.

Ahh BAE, the pinnacle of on-time, to quality projectsThe entire programme was sabotaged from the moment they chose General Dynamics to bodge something together rather than going with BAE and the CV90 family of vehicles.
