These are better as they are 80 Plus Bronze. The CX 400w was only 80 Plus.

The above wasn't sarcastic, the CX400 was a cracking PSU and it's a real shame Corsair dropped it as their replacement is nowhere near the same quality. A little pricier than other Seasonic units around the same output (Antec HCG, XFX 450, etc) but with the improved efficiency and modular cables, plus the 5 year warranty, certainly a good price for a good PSU.
Is PCP&C's warranty like OCZ's (Powerswap, is that what it's called?) where they do advance replacements? Just wondering, as they're owned by OCZ, whether they run the same warranty or not.

You do know that the 600w is perfectly fine to run an overclocked 2700K with a GTX 580 and a 2-3 HDD's and a full watercooling loop. :)

We tested it today on the new high end Xmas PC :)

will the 600 run 16 fans,i7 920,2x6channel fan controllers,2x18v pumps,6870 ?

You dont need anything more for a single card system. See the threads about the Xmas systems, it highlights that a 600w supply is more than enough for 90% of systems.

A [email protected] and gtx590 SLI only draws 850w from the wall at full load, so it's unlikely you will need much more

What if you did need a higher one though? xD

Was interested in the NZXT Hale 90's a while back, they were amazing...

Out of interest who actually makes these?
i.e. seasonic/enermax etc..
