Shiny new PSU's landed!

I'm after a white psu for my build and instead of getting 2x500 watt I was after a 1000 watt white psu but there don't seem to be many about

Sorry dude, just read your post again and seen that psu you mentioned, will have a look at it and see how much it is.

Thanks for the help :)

To be honest, I think that a lot of people go for the maxim of 'bigger is better' when it comes to their cpu, I've been running a 400w enermax psu for the last four years or so, and it is still more than able to run my rig quite happilly, now yes, I'm not pushing for the highest overclocks, or the biggest 3dmark score, and my cpu may be at the low end of the spectrum, but it is more than enough for me, in fact, last time I measured it, I was barely pulling 300w total while gaming, so *shrugs*.. it's nice to see good quality at the lower end of the power requirements.

You sir are bang on the money, my rig barely pulls 250w and thats cause its got a HD6850 in it.

I run a Xeon 3450, 16GB, 14x2TB green drives, Intel SSD, HD6450, SAS card and TBS 6981 DVB-S2 satellite card off a Corsair HX520. I really think some people have no idea how much power PCs do and don't pull.
