I've just sold a Gigabyte Mobo, I have the box and everything it came with, but have misplaced the anti static bag, is it safe just to ship in the box as is ?.

No I wouldnt risk it. Do not sent it bare loose in the box. First off if its a LGA1155/1150 make sure the CPU socket is covered by cardboard to avoid bent pins or use the plastic cover if you still have it. Then wrap it in small bubble wrap.

Thats what I was thinking, I have all of its original packaging including the cpu socket cover, apart from the bag , I suppose I should play it safe and use the bag from newer board, also remembered to take a picture of the cpu socket with the cover off this time, lesson learned :D.

My Asus Hero didn't come in a bag. It actually came in a plastic box inside the main box with a window in the lid so you could lift it and see the board. I have also had a couple of cheap second hand boards off the bay come without a static bag and they have worked perfectly. Just make sure you put that socket protector on if it's a Intel board.
