My galaxy s6 hangs on booting at the 's6, powered by android' screen. I've tried flashing several official UK ROMs, but to no avail, so need to return it to Germany to amazon.de for replacement/repair. Just tried to send by royal mail and told they can't as it has a lithium battery. Anyone had a similar experience or recommendation on who to use or how to return it?! :(

Send it via royal mail and don't tell royal mail it is a phone. :p

I hate to imagine how unlucky you would have to be for it to explode and land you in the doo doo.

But I still have to declare the contents for tracking and value. The battery is discharged anyhow (it just displays the splash screen until the battery dies :p )

I work in a post office and that is not true!

Aslong as the battery is inside the phone you are allowed to send it.

Edit: From Royal Mail Website....

Lithium ion/polymer/metal/alloy batteries when sent contained in equipment such as a mobile phone or digital camera are allowed,

If they still kick up a fuss (they often just point to a picture without actually reading the blurb) tell them to call the dangerous goods line.

The incompetence of most Post Office staff I've dealt with is mind blowing.
