Have you ever tried it? It does taste nice (depending on the flavour you have) and it is just something fun and relaxing to do, whether it be on your own or with friends.
I certainly don't think it is pointless, and neither do most people who smoke shisha!
I enjoyed some nice Blueberry and Pink Lemonade flavours earlier today... far nicer than smoking cigarettes and still gives me some nicotine

I have twice, Apple and Cinnamon and bubble gum. I mean it tasted OK but I couldn't see it being worthwhile. Damaging my health so I had a nice taste in my mouth didn't seem worth it to me. Oh well, different strokes for different folk I guess.
Tried it once at K-Bar in bournemouth. It's ok for a social sort of thing, we'd just come out of a night club and a few of us wanted to chill out.
Relaxing music, sat outside under the heaters and just chatting and smoking away. I'd never really make a habit out of it though, but would try it again sometime.

Tried one in Egypt, made me feel sick for a few days after. I think it was the apple one but damn it was disgusting.
Don't you think we know that? It is fun and life can be short, so who cares?
The worst thing is my bank account - when I was at Uni I used to smoke for 5-6 hours a day, and go through over 1kg of coal a week. Must have spent around £400 on shisha tobacco and hookahs over 2 years
I read that 45 mins of shisha is equivalent to 20 cigarettes.

Havent smoked a Shisha since I was in Belgium at my friends last year, he brought a load of the gear back from Kuwait, had a few friends round sitting out the back, music, beer, shisha was a good night. Think we had like a strawberry flavour i'm not too sure was pretty nice though, would love to have another smoke on one again

I keep meaning to pick one up when I'm in Egypt for work but I never have the time to find a good one. I might get time on my next trip.
It's nice for relaxing by the hotel pool of an evening with a beer. My favourite so far is cherry with apple being a close second.

Depends on what you put into it.
Not sure what flavour it was but i smoked one in egypt whilst on a quad bike trek into the desert to meet a bedoin tribe. Was quite tasty, i dont smoke anymore but i would defo smoke a Shisha again, wouldnt make a habit of it tho. Smoking is bad for you lol

I was really drunk the first time I tried it, but since then I have learnt that it can be very nice if it has been set up right. Over the years, I have learnt what is good and what is not... the problem with that now is that I rarely enjoy a shisha that has not been prepared by me

Eww! I hate Al Fakher Double Apple... I prefer Nakhla Double Apple!
The milk in the base works best with coffee shisha... now that is lovely!
