It's very rare that I buy shoes, and when I do why is it that when I try shoes on in the shop and walk around they feel fine but within 30 minutes of getting outside i'm in agony. Think these new ones are maybe 1/2 size too small, dare say i wouldn't be allowed to take them back now i've worn them outside.

They should have a try for a day outside policy before getting you to commit to them.

Ah well :(

That's why you should try them on around the house first ;)

True, true :( but my old shoes had a bloody big hole in the soles so I kept getting wet feet

Edit: Who wants a brand new pair of the art company shoes for 50 quid (bought for 79) size 43 EU :p

Your feet swell when walking, so always buy half a size bigger.

won't they already have swollen by they time you got to the shoe shop?

still good idea to try shoes on after getting up a good sweat in your socks.

Make sure the assistant helps you on with your shoes hehe :p

Bleurgh, that's the reason my mom's still paranoid about trying shoes on in shops. She just get's the size and then asks for something from the storage area.
