totally agree, to many freaks in here. How the he'll can you leave shoes on. I can't even get my head round the concept. If you have stinky feet then can understand in other people's houses, but your own
Urgh, always shoes off, massive relief after a long day in the office to come home, kick off shoes and drink a cup of tea, couldn't enjoy it if I had shoes on!
For day to day use of the house, shoes off. A dinner party or something then shoes on obviously. If someone's coming in for a couple of minutes (workman) then shoes on is fine. That's what the doormat is for.
Visiting someones house, their house, their rules.
Home, depends whether I remember to take my shoes off or not. Like now I've only just remembered I've still got my shoes on because of reading this thread, they are quite comfortable shoes though. I do the hoovering anyway so it's my problem.
Anyone elses house completely depends. Usually take my shoes off anyway just to save them needing to ask.
Shoes off where possible. I don't like the feeling of my feet being enclosed. If there was a way to just be barefooted all the time (without getting dirt, glass etc. stuck in or on your feet) i'd just go with that.
