I am looking for both trainers and the usual smart black shoes... so basically a variety.

Best thing to do is know vaguly what you want (ie. which type of shoe, and which brand), then search for places selling them.

Schuh seem to be really out of date with what they stock, so i've never bothered using them.

I usually just ebay it, since there are tons of dealers on there. or i just find the name of the trainer i want and www.froogle.co.uk the name and find the best price.
