Just went to see this and loved it - if you are after a no-brainer CLICHED action film then this is the one. Stupid over-the-top stunts, hammy acting, Monica Bellucci in a corset (hot) and so much killing its ridiculous...

Definitely deserves its 18 certificate - if you are looking for something with depth please dont watch it or bother to post in this thread expecting some :p

Seriously the film version of FIFA ;). Youll keep laughing as everything is just so larger-than-life...

you forgot to mention over the top gore aswell, i like the way the film avoids stereotypes though

although some of the one liners are very painful to listen, but top notch fun movie
 
i was rather dissapointed i was expecting a serious shooter :(
i did not expect it to be THAT cheesy, not to say it wasn't funny in parts but having seeing 3:10 to yuma just before which is a serious adventure film it was a let down for me personally.

WTF did you see a serious shooter in the trailers? Considering the name and over-the-top sequences it does exactly what it says on the tim. 'Campest' action flick ever and all the better for it...

This sounds like my type of movie, something you can just and scoff insane ammounts of popcorn, drink loads of coke and go to the toilet 5 times and not get lost in the plot.

skim-reading this post (or whatever that method of reading is where you just read the middle of sentences to get the gist) had to double take when I thought it read "you can just go and scoff insane loads of coke" :D
 
Just got back from seeing it. A total riot. Had me smiling all the way through. It's cheesy, but it knows it is and it works so well. If you expect a serious shooter, don't go and see it. If you want to be entertained and have fun for 90 minutes, go see it.
 
I thought it was brilliant. Only issue I had was the "O look, someone has left a baby" which was sooooooooo cheesey, and the "Told you not to blow your load" was used to death.

Other than that, brilliant film.
 
Glad to see thats theres some good taste in these forums after seeing some of the past recommendations for recent films ;)

And yes I still think the Simpsons movie was dire!

I thought it was pretty good, does exactly what it says on the tin lol. Some scenes were cringeworthy and I were like:eek:
