short rant about o2

[bastic]

I have a £10,5 per month contract with O2.
instead of terminating it early, I wanted to see if I can up it and just get note2 sim free from somewhere.

On their website, there are On&On tarrifs that look decent - £31 for unlimited min and txt and 2gb of net.

So I have asked if I can cheng to this plan...I was told that if I want unlimited mins and txt I have to pay £46 or £51...

once I mentioned that website states that there are price plans for £31 and £36 she said that those plans are for upgrades.

Nothing on the website states that those plans are for upgrades!!! when I told her that she said that they are changing website info etc....

what a load of rubbish!!!!!

Confused?

If you are getting a note2 sim free you can get o2 simplicity 12 month for 26/month. Unlimited calls/txt and 1GB data

Im being pressed by my other half to change to o2 lol
thats why Im looking in to O2...no other reason apart from maybe better reception around where I work and live ( still London)

I think 1GB wont be enough...with excellent battery life on Note2 I would be streaming music on the go so 1gb would not make it...I think...

You'd be best just getting a 64GB micro SD and putting all your music on that. Streaming music just seems like a waste of bandwidth.

Or go Tmo, they are doing a £21 pm tariff over 12 mths...down from the usual £31 they charge...you get unlimited mins, texts and data.

I just changed to that as tmo want an extortionate fee for me to upgrade to the iphone5 so I've gone to the 12mth tariff which I noted above until I decide what to do upgrade wise. Far better than me paying over £60 a month for essentially unlimited mins, texts and data over 24mths.

I did ask tmo if they had any FUPs on their data allowance, guy said nope its unlimited and no usage caps.
