as the thread title say's does anyone know the shortest 9800gt?

What are you uses? A 4670 should do the trick.
my gigabyte 8800gt is the shortest 8800gt you can get. im quite sure that the gigabyte 9800gt should be just as short if its the same one using the 4 phase power regulation on it.
above is a pic of my 8600gt on top, and 8800gt below, not much difference in size since the gigabyte card is shortest 8800gt i found.
