I'm speaking in terms of resale value, will it be more difficult for me to sell on than a manual version?

Also should I just avoid them altogether?

Thanks

Rob

You should avoid them because the gearbox is made of cheese.

Yes Morba, cheese. You are lucky, the rest of them are crap.

So I would be best off using it ontop of some nice thick white and bang it under the grill?

I'll just hold out for a manual, not as if there a rare car.

Cheers

Rob

Does this apply to MK2 Focii as well? I ask because my dad is looking at these as well.

Lol.

2 auto focus, 1 with small mileage, the other now has over 70k on it. Neither had gearbox problems at all. Both were facelift versions though, i believe the pre facelifts had a worse gearbox.

Not to say that this one wont fall to pieces though!
