Its on offer and i hear its really good. Im gonna be building a z68 build over then next 3-4 weeks buying a couple parts at a time, and if im lucky they will be in this weeks offers as i do it

Anyway 2 questions really:
1.Should i buy that ram
2.Should i buy 2 so i have 8gb ram or ami better off getting the corsiar ram thats on offer thats 8gb ram.

All the RAM guides for Sandybridge I have seen say the same thing, normal 1600MHz speed with modest timings is all you need,

Yay i hope stulid would post
It is basically for a gaming rig, and after reading the conclusions on the links you gave it does indeed look like 1600mhz is the sweetspot and any higher there really aint no difference. It just feels weird buying very cheap as im used to thinking its no good.

Ok, I suppose the higher frequency ram will be more "future proof"

AMD Bulldozer and Ivybridge will have increased memory controller speeds.
