You put the wires wherever you want. They're not wires for being plugged in, look at the end of them and there's a little thermal resistor which will monitor the temperatures wherever you put it. So you stick them where ever you wantV|per said:

Got me a Vantec Nexus, great fan controller, looks great aswell. You can get black with blue lights, it's the one that I have.

I have an antec 900 gaming case? (yes im an idiot i know)
I love the idea of having a fan controller and i want one but i think i read fan controller's cant control fans in my case? This is because fans have a slide switch inside for me to determine if they run at one of three speeds. Anyone know if this would be a pointless buy for my case?

The short answer is a fan controller will work with an Antec Tricool.
That'd be my choice of case... is there something wrong with them?
