Should I get a Monogram Colour ?

I know, I know..I'm just an impatient bugger..

Did I mention it's also a bargain though ;) If I get it for the advertised price it's almost worth getting it and having a full respray :D

if your going to do it, at least get heat reactive paint

What car have you got Ad? Most threads recently I see you dissing cars here there and everywhere. Rarely/none of your critisms had any meat to them other than off the cuff remarks with childish overtones.

I just don't like the car, it's as simple as that. Not driven it and don't particularly want to. Would an essay make you more cheery ? ;)

I drive a sunny SR, which cost me £0 initially. Does the job and costs literally peanuts to keep going until I buy something proper in a few years.

Not particularly no. Might be an idea to start with a reason next time unless you want to start looking like some sort of in house motors troll?

That's my biggest worry tbh, I saw a post somewhere on one of the MG forums where a guy had been quoted £1,500 a litre for the shot silk paint !

Surely it would be possible to get some made up for cheaper than that ?

get a quote from a local paint shop supplier - there are more than these than you think! some prismatic paints are astrnomical, some are only a few quid - you may be suprised. suprisingly, a large nationwide orange and black themed motor store sells THE cheapest.

The car will be harder to sell as the colours may not be to everyone's taste. Touch-ups will be hell as if any panel needs repainting it will not match. Lastly the colours don't even suit them.

Don't do it.

the car being hard to sell or not depends on a person just like the OP coming along - a guy who is not sure but knows it's a rare scheme.
granted it probably will be hard to sell, but advertise in more traditional mannors and you may get some lass wanting a soft top in 'custom paint', local and out of the paper. that type of person is not likely to shop on piston heads.

I've got mixed feeligns about the car, i never really liked them and i;m not a fan of prismatic paint on certain cars but it does look alright.

does i come with the plate? (i know there are more chars to it but he has displatyed the ones which count)

RAWWWR, gonna bash you with my swamp club :D

Most of the time can't be bothered to post a lengthy reply, far too much effort, especially if I'm having a ninja session on OcUK whilst at work ;)
