Should I get Hitman

I have to say the missions are well thought out but they are very limited. I never took a weapon into a mission except the white house and never had to use the notoriety thingies either.

Its definitely not for those wishing to just blast around, lots of thought is required and thats probably why Hitman is one of my favourite series, I own em all =]

If you liked the others you'll like this, it is likeable but I think they just missed the mark a tad with the limited scope for missions, really I think the missions should have up to 15 ways of completing them allowing you to use all the weapons/techniques at your disposal. I am a sniper kind of guy and there was nowhere which you could use a few select costume changes to get into that perfect snipe position and then try to get out... Shame really, still liked it and the very last level although short is fun :D

I've enjoyed all the hitman games apart from the first one which i've never played. Each one seems to be better than the last, i really like the accidents in the latest one, but it would be good to see a few more changes in focus in the game. At the moment while the aim of the mission is to be stealthy the collectables and upgrades are all for weapons. Why??? It would be better if you could collect new disgises, new drugs (lazatives, hallucinogenic etc) which could then be used in previous mission opening up new approches.

Well, first night of my first hitman game.
Did the tutorial mission, changing to 1st person mode, soon changed back!
Everything seemed good, don't think the graphics are up to Tomb Raider standards but still.
Then wham, thrown into the first level 'A Vintage Year' and after the hand holding of the tutorial was a bit flumoxed to say the least. Ran around like a headless chicken with no idea what to do, then slowly started thinking, how can I put it, 'differently'. Eventually got enough info., followed enough people, had enough luck, did enough lateral thinking (and probably drank enough wine) I did it, and a silent assassin achievement to boot.

On to 'Curtain's Down' (level 2) and really starting to love it. Nice pace; working things out and replaying bits to get it right never feels cumbersome or frustrating and I hope the rest of levels are as much fun.

Still don't really feel I know what I'm doing but I don't really care, I'll pick it up, this is fun and a nice refreshing change. So, so far, it's recommended.

played it and started to get bored, with having to repl;ay the levels on every difficulty. Solution, do first 5 properly, then later missions with m4 as your friend. Not subtle but effective. :D

Glad you're enjoying it, you obviously think like me, and see all the replaying as enjoyable rather than tiresome :).

Great game, havent played it much myself lately...too busy with the World Cup tbh. But ive been stuck on the death on mississippi level for quite some time, due to the fact i couldnt despatch all the gater gang members. But last night i just went for it, blasted each and every single one of them into oblivion, killed off that fat fella and managed to escape via my suit...didnt get the SA but after the fustration of 5 times trying to get it...i thought **** it im just gonna blast them one by one which i did.

Now ive just started the wedding one which im hoping to finish off tonight at some point. Like this game quite a bit, was a bit fustrating at the start but not got the hang of it.
