Should I get the 290X BF4 Edition?

780ti not out until 15th nov so best way to spoil Amd cards is to lower 780 until 780ti come out

They need to be lowered to start at £399 Inc for 780 to still be competively priced, doubt NVIDIA will drop that low but they have to do some kind of price drop and let 780ti drop in at £499, but that's me dreaming.

We will do as NVIDIA instruct us, so far they have said nothing.

No worries. I'm sure their just hanging fire to see what AMD does. I'll play BF4 on my GTX680 and see how it runs. If I can't get a good frame rate with all of the eye candy turned up, then I'll buy a GTX780Ti from you guys

I cant say i've suffered any of the noise issues when i had my 5870, 6950 etc. Maybe you guys didn't have adequate cooling in the case in the first place to keep the components cool?

System fan setup is really important to keep the graphics cards cool especially ones that exhaust air into the case.

Noise is very subjective.you noticed no difference from a 6950 to a gtx 780. I have used amd and nvidia many times and the newer nvidia is so much more quieter then amd

Wait for all the none reference coolers and reviews/feedback. 7950 clocked and that cpu should be good for everything set to high and no msaa or maybe 2* if your willing for drops under 60fps at times.
