If this is going to be your only drive then you will probably need the larger capacity for installing games. Having said that I recently threw a X25-V in my laptop and (outside of benchmarks) it performs just as well as my X25-Ms for general use. Cracking little drive.
Or...if you have a decent mechanical in there anyway why not use the SSD for OS and apps and install the games to the HDD? While I do actually have my games on a second SSD, it's more to keep them separate from the boot drive than any small improvement in load times.
Go for the C300 bigger and faster reads. But writes are slower, but remember a SSD have a finite number of writes before its dies, so the faster you can write to it the faster it can die.
