Hi all.
I'm trying to decide on a new GPU. I currently have an unopened 4070Ti Super but after watching several comparison videos I'm wondering if I made a mistake and should be looking at the Radeon 7900XT or even the XTX? I have a few weeks to return my 4070Ti Super if I decide to change. (I'm not interested in the 4080 Super)
From what I can discern from these videos is that the neutral games that are not optimised for either AMD or Nvidia seems to favour AMD.
The 7900XT is considerably cheaper than the 4070Ti Super and the XTX isn't that much more currently that the Ti Super.
One thing I did notice though is when upscaling is used, Nvidia pulls ahead quite considerably and apparently looks sharper but how often is DLSS or FSR actually used?
My main game is World of Warcraft in 4K (which doesn't use DLSS or FSR), I do play other games occasionally in either 2K or 4K and some VR with my Meta Quest 3, mainly sports games like golf or kayaking. I do want to get Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield when my system is updated.
My main priority is visual quality over performance, I want to be able to crank all the settings up for the best possible image.
My PC is a 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 CL30 on a Asus ROG Strix B650E-F motherboard with a EVGA 1200W Platinum PSU.
Unfortunately I just don't know enough about GPU's to fully understand all the data mentioned in these videos like 1% lows e.t.c.
Thank you.
