Should I lap my E5200 to lower temps?

I have just built a ITX system based around the Zotac 9300 board and would like to overclock my 5200 slightly if possible.

Problem is my temps are to high with the Low Profile Akasa Cooler.

Idle Temp - 31/39c

Max Temp Running Prime95 40 mins - 79c

My current thermal compound is Akasa AK-455.

Would lapping my E5200 and using possibly a better thermal compound lower the temps much more?

What low profile cooler would you recommend then?
If your running at stock speeds then I recommend you Under-Volt your processor if possible . . . that will cut down on your load temps and your running costs £££ . . .

This was with a retail weakling HSF with Q-Fan running the fan at 500rpms (almost passive basically) . . .

I thought the idea with that case was to use a psu with a base mounted 120mm fan and put a big, fanless heatsink on the processor? Take the fan off and turn it around before buying anything else, with the cpu fan supporting the psu rather than fighting it things should go rather better.
