Whilst still looking as cool as a Corrado?

Hmm, well i guess it goes on people's opinions mate, they are good looking cars, but I doubt anyone would choose a car purely on looks...

And for the record G40 > G60 :D

Better than a heap of crap Rover thats for sure.

/snigger :D

And to keep in line with the thread...

My dads' cousin used to have a G60. It was that lovely metallic blue/purple colour, sitting on BBS alloys and went pretty well.

Shame he wrapped it up :(

Well no but the whole package of especially the VR6 'rado (G60 expensive to maintain) - looks, image, performance, cruising ability, handling etc I think makes them a bargain car.

Hmm my mates mk2 golf edition one g60 is a lot quicker than my other mates tweaked mk3 polo g40 ;)

They don't tend to be bargains though, there very expensive cars unless they have 180k mileages! Just look on the edition38 site.

Hmmm...well Rado G60's then :p

Obviously standard, the G40's are pretty pure performance wise but some small upgrades and there the real sleepers out there.

I didn't say they were cheap, I said they were good value and I believe £3-4k is more than worth it for what they offer and obviously depreciation isn't massive and so you won't loose the money anyway.

Not sure what engine it is. Will find out tomorrow. Main things stolen were bumpers, anything worth having in the boot, stereo, and other parts, but I dont think they took anything major.

Oh and Andy if i can get a corrado at a slightly lowered price where i know who had it. I would over a mondy.

I remember finding it with my family, I saw it first but it looked like a shell with nothing really and i couldnt believe they would take what they did. Was horrible finding it like that.

All this talk of age & NCB with regards to insurance is irrelevant.

She's female and thus will only pay £3.85 per year.

;)
LOL it will most likely be cheaper for me to insure than a guy of the same age, but at the mo im 18 with no NCB. Hopefully I will have 1 years NCB in march.:)

I guess that will be quite dear then, I nearly bought a 2.0 about a year ago and I had 1NCB and I was 19, was a horrendus ammount!

But like said above, your a girl, you might get it cheap!

What insurance group is the Corrado? And sorry if I missed it, but is it the 2 litre?

andy, she's paying about £800 for the Corsa IIRC.

£1415 first year

Have you got a quote for whn you have 1NCB, I think the 'Rado will cost you way to much, would it be worth it?

Can't you store it away for a couple of years??
