So I've got a spare Samsung 980 pro 1TB and I'm using one of these already in my PC.

Is it worth taking both drives and doing RAID 0 with them or should I just install the 2nd 980 pro as a secondary drive for storage expansion?

I wouldn't bother either, risk of data loss for not a lot of real-world gain, yes looks good on synthetic tests but really you're not going to see it in the same way as we saw going from spinners to SATA SSD, then from there to NVMe SSD's, on paper they're loads faster but in reality its not tangible..

probably better to use it as secondary storage
or mirror it as a back up
messed around with raid 0 a while back with nvme drives
just out of curiosity because i could lol
saw no great benefit in my useage scenario anyway
and though likely wont affect most people
i also lost my 3rd nvme drive
if you raid them it wont let you raid 2 drives and have a third
as a non member
at least not with my motherboard
windows storage spaces is more versatile and does allow this
