Mind a bit screwy as I'm on the move. Previous post was in LA and now I'm in Seattle

It actually works. I put it over my window before I go to work on a sunny day, and it does make a difference.

Thanks for the input guys, I think I'm gunna stick with my 275's for the time being, especially now the 'summer' has come and gone :rolleyes:

hi mate, I'm about to buy a 2nd hand gtx 275 to go with my asus- just wondering what kind of temps your cards were running at during the 'summer'?

I was gonna get a gtx 470/480 especially with a free copy of mafia and the price drops but 275 sli performance is hard to ignore for the price!
 
I'm not at home at the moment, but if I remember correctly, the bottom one idles around 40, and the top about 10 degrees hotter than that. I'll double check when I get home :)

Those are good temps for sli- I suppose thats where a case with good air-flow pays divadends:)
