Should i upgrade formula v with fx8150

Hi i just found stuff growing in my water cooling so im doing a strip down to clean. I bought a NZXT Phantom Enthusiast Full Tower to upgrade my coolmaster haf 922 as i hate the 360 rad mounted on the back. Then i was thinking why stop there i have a Crosshair v Formula with a fx8150 i have had them for years. the motherboard only supports pci-e 2.0 would this hold back my titan? im getting a very stable 4300mhz overclock running cool. Benchmarking is not my thing so its just purely for the gaming. Should i upgrade?

What res r u gaming at ? what games r u playing ?

I'm on ultra wide 1440p mostly playing any aaa titles that are out.

Think i would wait for the release of Skylake cpu's from Intel and then make my decission.
