Towers (especially full tower) are great, in that you have no problems with CPU cooler restrictions, space to fit drives without smacking into motherboard, can adjust drive jumper settings and see what you're doing, have better venilation, etc etc. Also space for standard ATX PSU's with modular cables (usually deeper) Do you need space for several optical drives and hard drives?

A largish MATX isn't too bad either, ie my Silverstone TJ07. I wouldn't buy second hand PC gear, you don't know if previous owner is ham fisted. Mate has a Qpack is larger than yours, but still it's too cramped for me, TJ07 bit more space.. Top pick is MATX TJ07 with one HD, bottom is system in my sig.

Well a decent case costs a bit of money, sure you can buy a £30 midi tower with supplied PSU and it'll work. Some are better than others. But the stock PSU's are usually low quality and loud. The Seasonics S12 are very quiet, but so are the Enermax Liberties. I would get the Liberty, offers more connectivity and better cooling for only slightly more noise (soft purr audible couple of feet away) The mobo fan and GFX card will be louder than PSU fan.

Browse a few sites read reviews on cases. But for 4 hard drives looking at least largish midi tower. Fit two optical drives, it saves a lot of time ie installing a game on one whilst reading music from the other.

That mobo is Nforce 3, I would get a Nforce 4 mobo

Nforce 3 is AGP whereas nfroce 4 is pcie, I see that you have an AGP card so I would recommend getting an asrock dual sata which has both agp and pcie if you want to upgrade in the future.

EDIT: beaten to it

Ive already got the mobo :( now i feel a plonka, even looked at ocuk before i got the board and couldnt find both agp and pcie :( god dam it more money wasted
