Should I upgrade or buy a new pc?

ok so my case has a USB 3.0 on the front panel but I don't have a clue where it connects on my Mobo... Do I need an adapter or anything for it?

Yout motherboard does not have usb 3 so you may need an adapter to work with usb 2 on your board.

Click on the image of your board and you will see usb 2 port in blue near the sata ports

Yes I believe I do need an adapter, also my Mobo is rev 5.0...

I think I might skip all the hassle and just buy a £400 gaming rig off ebay or something with 8-16GB Ram, 120 GB SSD and so on, then upgrade that further down the line as mine I have now is around 5 years old :s

Not too sure yet though.

Doing this will leave you with 2 PCs that need upgrading and you'll be £400 out of pocket.
