Morning all. Posting this in the GPU section as my biggest concern is over possible SLI issues....
Anyway, I've resisted upgrading to Windows 10 for ages. Mainly as I'm still on Windows 7 64 for my gaming machine - I still like it, and have no problems.
My rig is pretty beefy - 5930k, x99, 2x 980ti in SLI powering an x34 superwide (it needs the power!). I used to have a few issues with SLI on my old z68 rig with 780Ti's - stutter in various games etc etc, that so far seem to be much improved on my x99 rig with the 980Ti's. Whether this is due to both cards being able to run at pcie3x16 or some other reason I don't know, but if something aint broke and don't need fixing, I'm worried that upgrading to Windows 10 might Bork something.
What do we think? Should I stick with win7 until the last possible days, or take the plunge to the free Windows 10 upgrade that's sitting in my task bar nagging me?
Anyone got any stories of woe, particularly with regards to SLI and Windows 10 gaming compared to win7?
