Next week should see the launch of the new ATI cards, perhaps check the prices, it might be worth a upgrade :)

mmm i would rather stay with nvidia cos i just prefer them i was looking at this one

didnt really wanna spend more than £120-£140 quid
Nooooooooo

This: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-015-SK&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1410

EDIT: Or this for a bit less: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-050-GI&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=927

Or just go ATI and get 4890 which is similar to a GTX 275 but you don't get Batman! And ATI drivers are known to be a bit less reliable.

thanks for the reply but the 250GTS seems to have a better core clock and memory clock as well as more memory compared to the 260 doesnt it? im no pro so i will go with you guys lol

Completely different core tho so you can't compare speeds like that...

The 250GTS has a G92 core with 128 pipelines, then 260GTX has a 200 series core with 216 pipelines - so the 250GTS would have to have around double the clock speed of the 260GTX to match it in performance.

i get it now cool had a look at some of the cards people have said but i cant pick, i think i will look to the 260, but the sparkle 275gtx is looking nice, the gigabyte 260 is meant to be rather big so might stay clear of that, would really like a bfg but they do tend to be a bit more, im going to say £130 tops as my budget wanna buy tonight so i will hopefully have it on tuesday or wednesday!

Unless theres only a couple of quid in it I'd prolly say get the 260GTX - the 275 is faster but only slightly - if your not getting playable performance with the 260 you won't with the 275 either.

thanks for that mate what one would you rec if you dont mind me asking out of the 260 i really cant choose lol just want the one with the overall better performance not to worried about overclocking
