Case wise, Antec 300, Coolermaster 590/690 (these have better cable management then the antec).

Cooler wise, unless your really pushing your cpu overclock, then the freezer 7 is fine, that being said the Prolimatech Megahalems / Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme Rev.C / Alpenföhn Nordwand / ThermoLab Baram are all basicly the same sort of performance but a lot more pricey then the freezer 7.

Power supply would be a decent 600w from a manufacture like corsiar and the like, unless you are crossfiring power hungry cards then u may need a more beefy PSU.

Cpu upgrade, realisticly you won't get much improvement with the quad unless the games u play can make use of all 4 cores, the E8400 is a nice upgrade, i have mine sitting @3.6ghz with 1.12v allowing my memory to run 1:1 with my FSB, i have noticed an overall performance increase over my old E5200, is it worth spending £100+ on it not sure, i got mine cheap from a mate.

Id have to say upgrade the case, psu, cooler if really needed (i don't think it is), and put the rest into savings account, and add to it, so u can buy an I5 set up next year. That would be a better upgrade path to take..

i was thinkg of a Titan TTC-NK85TZ Fenrir cooler with a 750w psu as i crossfire 4870 and some good case but hard to make my mind up.
