Hi, i have a gigabyte ga-p35-ds4 mobo, and a intel e6850 core 2 du processor, my question is should i use a 4 pin or an 8 pin connector for the cpu and power supply?
If your PSU come with the 8pin connector, and your motherboard also has the 8pin socket, then use 8, but if your motherboard has 8pin socket, and your PSU only has 4pin, simply use 4pin (of the 8).
Hi, the 8-pin is only required if you have a Intel Extreme CPU, I'm running a Q6600 @ 3.6ghz with only the four and it is stable even when tested at load..
