Hi all,

I have a D-Link WMN 547, but is it better to allow Windows to configure it and diasable D-Link in msconfig, or continue with the D-Link utitilty :

(The standard "allow windows your wireless device" or the D-Link utlity.)

The wireless still work fine is I ask windows to configure the device, and stop the D-Link utility starting in the msconfig options.

Does anybody know which offers best performance in game?

Many thanks,

Shayne.

I doubt there will be a difference in performance as it will still be using the same driver.

I recommend you use the built-in Windows utility. I hate extra wireless client bloat.

I tend to always use the Windows software rather than 3rd party utility. Just install the driver the card needs and remove the software if possible :)
