Should make the jump to SSD

I've got a macbook pro mid-2010 should i get an SSD ?

Has anybody done this before ?

How much does it speed the system up ?

How long does this improvement last until it slows down again ?

Which SSD should i buy ?

System becomes very snappy, from personal experience.
Boot times, opening up applications etc; feel instant, best upgrade you can buy IMO.

I bought the M4 as that was the cheapest at the time, Intel is more expensive but seems to be the one preferred most when I read through all the forums.

I've decided I'm going to get one but at the moment i use 80gb of my boot drive, should i get a 120gb so i don't pay as much or go with a 256gb

Have a search around the Apple forum on this site, a few people have done this without issue

Size wise it depends on what you want to save on the SSD.

generally i have maybe 10gb of music and the rest is just crap that accumulates.
