I think showering before going into a pool is OCD territory, like those people you see on TV where they spend all day cleaning/dusting their homes because they're terrified of the thought of dust/germs.

If you're that bothered by sharing water with people who aren't up to your own hygiene standards then don't go swimming in a public pool, simples.

I thought it was just urine that was detected. Can't help if a pube falls off can you. I mean how does the water distinguish a head hair from a pube?

Mandate a full body hair wax prior to the pre-pool shower.

I can actually see it post-COVID hysteria.... people just want to go for a quick swim and come home looking like Duncan Goodhew because of the new breed of germophobes.
