Judging by what we've seen here and what we're seeing scalped in the usual places, I wouldn't be surprised if FEs accounted for more than half of the 5090s currently in circulation.
Yeah probably true that, but someone is buying up 5090s @ £3000 because i seen 3 the other day and they had gone the next time i checked.

it's always had a Waterblock GPU just in-between changing sometimes need to just cool the CPU & Ram

Now that looks decent, matches the expense. Most of the other pics posted look like they bought a PC from Cash Converters and shoved a 2 grand GPU in them.

That's niceIndividually braided 12v-2x6 Cable arrived! Also undervolted the card and saw massive temp/power reductions for the same performance.

So I've been doing a bit of research and even between the 13700K and 9800X3D at 4K gaming the average FPS is 99.4 FPS vs 101.4 FPS (with a 4090)
I could upgrade to the 14900K using the same mobo, but the difference is even less at 100.3 so not even 1 fps. Is the 13700K really that bad then?

Not a bad CPU, just seems an odd pairing with such a high end and expensive GPU (RTX 5090). For gaming there is only the 9800X3D worth considering moving too. The cost of an AM5 mobo plus the chip is very reasonable, especially in-comparison of something like an RTX 5090.

Thanks for the video, think I'll do some more research. I was still using my 9900K when I upgraded to my 4090 in October 22 and found it had severe bottlenecks, hence why I upgraded to the 13700K with DDR5 at the time as the 14th gen weren't out.
I still have that 9900K machine and have a 4070 FE in it. I guess I'm at the point where shall I bother paying £460 odd to upgrade to a 14900K, which should give me a slight boost. But then I'm only running a 1000W PSU so will need to change it too.
With the cost of upgrading to a 14900K I may as well just throw a bit more money and get a different Motherboard and CPU, which I guess would be AMD as they seem to be the leaders this time around.

Yeah I think it makes more sense as well, add a bit more money and get a new mobo and CPU. The RTX 5090 + 9800X3D will be a gaming monster!
Yeah I'll take a look, those benchmarks in that youtube video are all wrong though. Either using DDR4 or the 13700K is misconfigured, as every benchmark and even my own machine performs nearer an equivalent 9800X3D machine than what the video shows.

It seriously underwhelms me yet sets my soul ablaze.
No issues here. Temps around 65 - 68 at 5k x 2k and been enjoying kingdom come deliverance 2 maxed out. No complaints
