Show off your 5090s thread!

Its been an expensive week but worth it :D

I tried to run it on my current Cooler Master V Series 850W from 2013 which was fine with my 4090 on 3 x PCI-E but it didn't like the 5090 so much, even though they are supposed to run on 3 x , then again its 12 years old so in went the new NZXT and it was good.

My Palit Gamerock 5090 arrived this morning. If anybody's interesting, here are a couple of side-by-side photos of it next to its older cousin, the Palit Gamerock 4090. The 4090's on the left, the 5090 on the right.

I hope it's worth the extra cost to you but as a 4090 owner i am just not sure it's worth the upgrade. curious what you think though once you get it installed and tested.

An essential purchase with a new 5090 is a new 12V-2x6  ordered this when I got the 5090 last month and only just arrived, it's a new Cablemod 12V-2x6 that terminates to 2 x 8 pin on psu side.. ultra tight fit on the GPU side and currently shows very little droop under load with it sitting at 12.263v at idle and 12.067v at 600w load . Need to pick up a clamp meter to check and monitor amps . Was initially concerned about the angle the cable may sit at due the the angled plug on the FE but it's all good with no need for sharp bends in the cable :)
